ICD 10 October 1, 2018 Changes
As of October 1, 2018, 365 new ICD10 2019 codes have been released. Any encounter on or after October 1, will automatically use the new codes. Visits prior to October 1, will use the 2018 version. New Medicare Card Transition Begins April 1
CMS will begin mailing new Medicare cards with the Medicare Beneficiary Identifier (MBI) on April 1. Start using the MBI as soon as your patients get their new cards.
