Is the system HIPAA compliant?

EnableDoc exceeds HIPAA compliance. We utilize 128 bit SSL, bank-level encryption and utilize a data center that provides physical computer hardware security, redundant storage, power, and data carriers. All data is encrypted and backed up to an entirely separate data center. We provide an audit log of all access, modification, printing, and electronic sending of patient health information.

Do I have access to my data?

Yes, the data can be exported upon request once per year. If you would like a copy more often, we provide an addition service to export the data to your own personal database. We charge $25 per provider per month for this service to cover the additional storage costs.

How many employees can I have in my practice?

There is no limit to the number of employees you can have nor is there a limit on the number of locations.

Will EnableDoc be certified to comply with the stimulus in the American Recovery Act?

Under the American Recover Act of 2009, physicians and practitioners can qualify for up to $44,000 in Medicare and $66,000 in Medicaid reimbursement by making “meaningful use” of a government certified EHR. The requirements and process for certification and proving “meaningful use” are still under development, but EnableDoc guarantees that we will be certified. .

What kind of hardware and computers do I need to get use EnableDoc?

All you need is a computer with a browser and internet access. We recommend a Windows PC with a minimum connection speed of DSL , but Cable speed is recommended.

What physician specialties do you support?

Our custom templates and specialty specific module setting are designed to support all medical specialties.
How long does it take to get installed and running?
Signup and you start immediately. If you have existing data to import, please provide us the name of the system you are currently using and the version. We will need access to the data to determine what information we can export and import into EnableDoc..

Do support and upgrades cost extra?

No. Support, software updates and upgrades, and online education community are included with your monthly fee.

How much does the software cost?
We charge a low monthly fee based on the modules you decide to use. Our electronic health record module is $200 per provider per month, practice management module is $125 per provider per month, and electronic prescription is $25 per provider per month.
